Abstract: This contribution presents a synthesis of tectonic fabrics, metamorphic, geochronologic, elemental and Nd-Hf isotope data addressing evolution of Archean crust through accretionary to collisional orogenesis in the Dharwar craton. A large crustal corridor was chosen across the Chitradurga boundary shear zone covering western and central blocks forming a wide time window into the Archean Earth.
