| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the Deep-Tech sector (DTS) in India, to interpret the conditions and challenges within a Sectoral Systems of Innovation (SSI) framework, and to suggest recommendations for addressing those challenges. We identify four major challenges to this sector, and subsequently offer eleven recommendations. We argue that the understanding, analysis, and recommendations to the Indian DTS be conceptualised not as standalone issues but as questions within an SSI that is in need of critical attention. |
