Solar energy is the most abundant renewable energy source and the technology to harness the solar
energy includes the use of photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems. Particularly, Photovoltaic
systems are playing a crucial role in meeting our future energy demand and it has been considered as
an environmental benign and eco-friendly source of electrical power. Figure 1 shows schematic on cross
sectional view of solar panel protected with cover glass. |
